[SET COMMENTS]

* With its unique typing and ability in Thick Fat upon Mega Evolving, Mega Venusaur carves a small niche as a check to Primal Kyogre, defensive Ho-Oh, defensive Eternatus, Arceus-Water, and Zygarde for balance teams. However, due to its passivity, it struggles greatly against offensive team structures, and its lack of an item means it faces heavy competition with Ferrothorn, Eternatus, and Arceus-Grass.
* Leech Seed provides a reliable way of wearing down Pokemon that view Mega Venusaur as setup fodder, such as Necrozma-DM, Zacian-C, and Eternatus, while providing passive recovery to teammates such as Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.
* Toxic enhances this chip damage further, preventing support Arceus formes and defensive Yveltal from shrugging off the damage with recovery, allowing Mega Venusaur to be a nuisance for many bulkier teams to deal with.
* Grass Knot is a solid method of dealing damage across a game, especially against Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and Zygarde, the former risking a 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leech Seed damage.
* The following EV spread allows Mega Venusaur to avoid the 2HKO from +2 Thousand Arrows from defensive Zygarde and Life Orb Marshadow's Spectral Thief while always being able to 2HKO Tera Water Zygarde-C with Grass Knot. The remaining EVs are dumped into Special Defense to handle special attackers such as Primal Kyogre, Eternatus, Arceus-Fairy and Palkia-O better. The alternative EV spread maximizes Mega Venusaur's physical bulk, avoiding the 2HKO from Arceus-Ground's Earth Plate-boosted Earthquake while still avoiding the 2HKO from Timid Palkia-O's Spacial Rend.
* Due to Mega Venusaur's Thick Fat ability, its ideal to Mega Evolve as soon as possible, as base Venusaur struggles to switch into Ice Beam from Primal Kyogre and has less bulk overall. It's also ideal to keep Mega Venusaur as healthy as possible, since its easily worn down by entry hazards and repeated attacks, especially since Synthesis heals less under rain.
* Prior to Mega Evolution, Chlorophyll can be used to revenge kill offensive Primal Groudon sets if necessary. It should be noted that Synthesis also heals more under Desolate Land, so Mega Venusaur can serve as a temporary Primal Groudon check, especially if the latter is worn down significantly.
* Leech Seed should be used on the switch, rather than during a one-on-one matchup, as it makes Mega Venusaur more passive; it should be used quite frequently as well, especially mid-game to wear down Pokemon that cannot reliably heal such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Giratina-O, and Zygarde.
* Due to Mega Venusaur being unable to damage Steel-types such as Zacian-C, Fire-types such as Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh are greatly appreciated to offensively and defensively check them; these Fire-types also appreciate Mega Venusaur handling Arceus-Water and Primal Kyogre. Offensive Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma can easily set up and knock out Mega Venusaur, so Dark-types such as Yveltal and Arceus-Dark are liked too. Flying-types such as Mega Salamence and Rayquaza threaten Mega Venusaur, so Steel-types like defensive Necrozma-DM are good partners.
* The chip damage caused by Mega Venusaur's Leech Seed and Toxic allows strong attackers such as Marshadow, Palkia-O, Yveltal, and Deoxys-A to clean up enemy teams much more easily. Mega Venusaur also appreciates hazards such as Stealth Rock and Spikes from Primal Groudon and Necrozma-DM to help whittle down foes with Leech Seed and Toxic; it also appreciates hazard removal from teammates such as Ho-Oh or Giratina-O, the latter needing Mega Venusaur to check Arceus-Fairy for it.

* Mega Venusaur's unique typing and stellar ability allow it to check Primal Kyogre alongside defensive Eternatus, defensive Ho-Oh, Arceus-Fairy and Arceus-Water, with its movepool offering good utility for the balance teams it finds itself on. Mega Venusaur sort of very soft checks Arceus-Fairy but gets shut down far too easily. Taunt is very common on both offensive and defensive sets as is tera poison. Grass Knot isn't doing enough to handle it. You could add Zygarde as Mega Venu appears to check it fairly well.
* Leech Seed provides a reliable way of wearing down Pokemon that would switch into Mega Venusaur, such as Necrozma-DM, Zacian-C and Eternatus, while providing passive recovery to teammates such as Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre. Toxic can push this chip damage further, letting Mega Venusaur cripple support Arceus formes and defensive Yveltal. The second sentence should be reworded. Toxic enhances the chip damage from Leech Seed which many Pokemon with recovery options such as Arceus formes or even pesudo recovery can somewhat shrug off. It may be worth mentioning that Leech Seed punishes Pokemon such as Zacian-C or Eternatus that view Mega Venusaur as setup fodder for switching in. i.e. Zacian-C is put into Sacred Fire range after a single layer of Spikes and one turn of Leech Seed damage.
* Synthesis lets Mega Venusaur heal itself, giving it more longevity than with just Leech Seed. Keep in mind that Synthesis heals less under Primal Kyogre's Primordial Sea while healing more under Primal Groudon's Desolate Land. Grass Knot is a solid method of dealing damage across a game, especially against Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre and Zygarde how many hits does it take to KO Pdon / Zygarde?. Chlorophyll can be is the base ability used to potentially revenge-kill offensive Primal Groudon prior to mega evolving.
* The following EV spread allows Mega Venusaur to avoid the 2HKO from +2 Thousand Arrows from defensive Zygarde and Life Orb Marshadow's Spectral Thief while always being able to 2HKO Tera Water Zygarde-C with Grass Knot. The remaining EVs are rest is dumped into Special Defense to handle special attackers better such as? .

* Due to Mega Venusaur being unable to damage Steel-types such as like Zacian-C outside of Leech Seed, FireGround-types such as Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh are greatly appreciated to offensively and defensively check them, as well as these Ground-types appreciating Mega Venusaur handling Arceus-Water and Primal Kyogre. Offensive Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma can easily setup and knock out Mega Venusaur, so Dark-types such as like Yveltal or Arceus-Dark are liked too. Flying-types such as Mega Salamence and Rayquaza threaten Mega Venusaur, so Steel-types like defensive Necrozma-DM are good partners. This bullet point sounds like it can be summed up as Mega Venusaur has significant struggles v HO so that should be explicitly stated either in this bullet or in the usage tips section. Switched Ground to Fire as I think that is what you're getting at?
* Mega Venusaur appreciates hazards such as Stealth Rock or Spikes from who? to help whittle down opponents with Leech Seed and Toxic, while it also appreciates hazard removal from teammates such as Ho-Oh or Giratina-O, the latter needing Mega Venusaur to check Arceus-Fairy for it. Mega Venusaur is on a balance team and balance teams have offensive mons on them. Please list some which benefit from the support offered by Mega Venusaur. Marshadow seems like a good option though two offensive Pokemon which synergize well with Mega Venusaur should be mentioned. The first teammate bullet can be Pokemon which create a good defensive backbone with Mega Venusaur and the second can be offensive mons.

evs: 248 HP / 64 Def / 64 SpA / 132 SpD or 248 HP / 140 Def / 120 SpD as you may recall this was brought up and agreed on, this spread maximizes physical bulk, notably avoiding a 2HKO from Earth Plate Arceus-Ground's Earthquake, and avoids a 2HKO from Timid Palkia-O's Spacial Rend

* Mega Venusaur's unique typing and stellar ability in Thick Fat technically this also has Chlorophyll per how megas work, gotta clarify allow it to check Primal Kyogre, add comma alongside defensive Eternatus these two are checked well independently of if they're ran on the same team or not, defensive Ho-Oh, and Arceus-Water, with its movepool offering good utility for balance teams. Reword the bullet point into first explaining why Mega Venusaur is difficult to justify on a team (lack of an item slot, passivity, heavy competition with Eternatus, Ferrothorn, and to a lesser degree Arceus-Grass), then cover the niches it has to be considered anyways, by extension also mention its capability to check Zygarde somewhere too.
* Leech Seed provides a reliable way of wearing down Pokemon that view Mega Venusaur as setup fodder, such as Necrozma-DM, Zacian-C and Eternatus, while providing passive recovery to teammates such as Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre. the following should be a separate bullet point Toxic enhances this chip damage further, preventing support Arceus formes and defensive Yveltal from shrugging off the damage with recovery, allowing Mega Venusaur to be a nuisance for many bulkier teams to deal with.
* Synthesis lets Mega Venusaur heal itself, giving it more longevity than with just Leech Seed. Keep in mind that Synthesis heals less under Primal Kyogre's Primordial Sea while healing more under Primal Groudon's Desolate Land. Dex info, the usage of the move being different against each Primal should be noted in the usage tips however. The following should be a separate bullet point Grass Knot is a solid method of dealing damage across a game, especially against Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre and Zygarde, the former risking a 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leech Seed damage. Chlorophyll can be used to revenge-kill offensive Primal Groudon prior to mega evolving. Unrelated (would deserve its own bullet point), but it's too brief to get its own bullet point IMO, move that to the usage tips.
Expand this to also talk about the second EV spread, in a separate bullet point after this one
* Due to Mega Venusaur's Thick Fat ability, its ideal to Mega Evolve as soon as possible, as base Venusaur struggles to switch into Ice Beam from Primal Kyogre, as well as having less bulk overall. It's also ideal to keep Mega Venusaur as healthy as possible, due to it being worn down by hazards and repeated attacks, especially since Synthesis heals less under rain.

* Mega Venusaur fits best on balance teams that appreciate its role compression and unique utility options, however it struggles significantly against hyper offense teams because of its passive nature. Move this to the first bullet point, reword as needed.
* Due to Mega Venusaur being unable to damage Steel-types such as Zacian-C, Fire-types such as Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh are greatly appreciated to offensively and defensively check them, as well as these Fire-types appreciating Mega Venusaur handling Arceus-Water and Primal Kyogre. Offensive Necrozma-DM and Ultra Necrozma can easily setup and knock out Mega Venusaur, so Dark-types such as Yveltal or Arceus-Dark are liked too. Flying-types such as Mega Salamence and Rayquaza threaten Mega Venusaur, so Steel-types like defensive Necrozma-DM are good partners.

Mega Venusaur also appreciates hazards such as Stealth Rock or Spikes from Primal Groudon and Necrozma-DM to help whittle down opponents with Leech Seed and Toxic, while it also appreciates hazard removal from teammates such as Ho-Oh or Giratina-O, the latter needing Mega Venusaur to check Arceus-Fairy for it.
