[SET COMMENTS]
By virtue of its access to Quiver Dance and its colorful coverage, Volcarona serves as a great setup sweeper on Fire teams. Giga Drain can be used over Flamethrower, as it grants Volcarona a recovery option and allows it to threaten Water- and Ground-types such as Primarina, Swampert, and Gastrodon. Alternatively, Morning Sun provides larger recovery for Volcarona than Giga Drain, giving it more opportunities to set up. Flame Body allows Volcarona to potentially punish revenge killers such as Dragonite with burns.

Torkoal and Ninetales are great partners for Volcarona, as their sun boosts Volcarona's Flamethrower. Additionally, Torkoal can set up Stealth Rock to aid Volcarona in its sweeping, while Ninetales provides Will-O-Wisp support so that Volcarona can run Swarm and punish physical attackers and Healing Wish support to grant Volcarona another opportunity at sweeping. Cinderace can clear entry hazards with Court Change and potentially gain screens set by users like Klefki and Alolan Ninetales to make Volcarona harder to take down. Choice Scarf variants can also deal with speedy threats such as Greninja, Kleavor, and Iron Valiant thanks to its colorful movepool combined with Libero boosts. Talonflame's immunity to Ground allows it to ease that matchup, and Brave Bird in tandem with Gale Wings allows it to deal with threats such as the Ogerpon formes and Choice Scarf Sneasler. Volcanion is great in the Water matchup thanks to its decent physical bulk and access to Water Absorb, and with its great attacking options, it can handle Fire-, Fairy-, and Poison-types such as opposing Volcarona, Azumarill, and Toxapex. Volcarona appreciates the presence of wallbreakers such as Ogerpon-H, Choice Band Hisuian Arcanine, and Choice Specs Iron Moth to break through bulky threats so it can sweep more easily. Ogerpon-H deals with Water-types such as Primarina, Swampert, and Rotom-W when Volcarona chooses to forego Giga Drain. Hisuian Arcanine deals with Flying-types such as Moltres, Tornadus-T, and Mandibuzz, and it appreciates Volcarona taking on Fighting-types such as Iron Valiant and Breloom in return. Iron Moth has access to a wide range of coverage tools to deal with a myriad of threats like Toxapex, Pelipper, and Sableye.

By virtue of its access to Quiver Dance and its colorful coverage, Volcarona serves as a great setup sweeper on Fire teams. Bug Buzz is STAB that can potentially be further boosted with Swarm to take on Dark- and Psychic-types like Hydreigon, Hoopa-U, and Slowbro. dex info and also bug buzz owns these mons regardless of swarm (besides maybe hoopa u but like, thats more a gamestate thing) and this reads as if bug buzz doesnt beat them if its not in swarm range Psychic targets Poison- and Fighting-types like Toxapex, Okidogi, and Great Tusk mention clodsire even tho it wins the 1v1 anyway its still kinda important. Flamethrower allows Volcarona to handle Steel-types such as Corviknight, Skarmory, and Gholdengo. Alternatively, Giga Drain can be used over Flamethrower as it grants Volcarona a recovery option and allows it to threaten Water- and Ground-types such as Primarina, Swampert, and Hippowdon remove the hippo mention and put gastro instead. Morning Sun provides larger recovery for Volcarona than Giga Drain, giving it more opportunities to set up. Flame Body allows Volcarona to potentially punish revenge kiillers such as Kingambit and kingambit isnt rly a revenge killer, it only is in like more niche scenarios when sucker punch is guaranteed to kill or be useful idk i dont rly like calling it a revenge killer Dragonite with burns. 0 Attack IVs are run so that Volcarona takes the least possible damage from Mandibuzz's Foul Play.

Torkoal and Ninetales are great partners for Volcarona, as they set up sun so that Volcarona's Flamethrower gets boosted. Additionally, Torkoal can set up Stealth Rock to aid Volcarona in its sweeping, while Ninetales provides Will-O-Wisp support so that Volcarona can run Swarm and punish physical attackers mention healing wish giving volc another oppurtunity to sweep.
